Lippert 304 Stainless Steel RV or Residential Flow Max Bullet Pull-Down Kitchen Faucet -- Matte Black (Part 2021090600 / 02-8600)

A purpose-built pull-down kitchen faucet engineered for RV use and equally at home in a residential kitchen. The bullet-style high-arc neck gives you serious clearance for filling pots or washing larger cookware, while the 360-degree swivel and flexible pull-down hose head put water exactly where you need it -- no awkward repositioning of the pan.

High-Arc Pull-Down Convenience in a Clean Matte Black Finish

Lippert's Flow Max Bullet faucet is designed for the RVer who wants a kitchen that looks and works like a real kitchen. The matte black finish resists fingerprints and water spots better than chrome, and the single-handle lever keeps operation simple -- one hand controls both temperature and flow. The spray head toggles between a focused stream for rinsing and a wide spray for washing produce or clearing the sink basin.

Construction centers on a 304-grade stainless steel body, the same alloy used in commercial kitchen equipment. It resists corrosion from RV water systems, including softened or lightly treated water sources common in campgrounds and full-time RV living. The matte black PVD coating bonds to the metal rather than sitting on top of it, so the finish holds up to daily use without peeling or flaking.

Bullet High-Arc Neck

Tall clearance for filling deep pots and washing larger items -- distinctive silhouette fits modern RV and residential cabinetry styles.

360 Deg Full Swivel

Rotate the spout a full 360 degrees to reach every corner of the sink basin -- especially useful in RV kitchens with compact, single-bowl sinks.

Stream / Spray Toggle

Thumb-actuated toggle on the pull-down head switches between concentrated stream and wide spray -- no tool required, works with wet hands.

304 Stainless Body

Corrosion-resistant stainless steel construction stands up to campground water chemistry and everyday RV kitchen demands.

Who This Faucet Is Built For

This is a direct upgrade for RVers replacing a builder-grade faucet that drips, lacks reach, or looks dated. It works for full-timers who cook daily and need a faucet that handles real kitchen workloads, as well as weekend warriors who want the kitchen to feel intentional rather than functional-bare-minimum. The single-hole mount means it drops into virtually every standard RV kitchen sink cutout without modification.

The faucet also fits residential applications -- smaller homes, apartments, wet bars, and laundry sinks -- anywhere a single-hole, high-arc pull-down faucet with a clean modern finish makes sense.

Pull-Down Hose with Retention Weight

The flexible pull-down hose uses a counterweight system (typical of the Flow Max series) that retracts the spray head back into the neck automatically when you release it. No hunting for the head, no hose pooling under the sink. The hose is long enough to reach the full interior of standard RV kitchen basins.

Single-Handle Temperature Control

The lever handle operates on a ceramic disc cartridge -- the same cartridge technology that largely eliminated dripping faucets in residential plumbing. In an RV context this matters because vibration from road travel can accelerate wear on lower-quality ball or rubber-seat cartridges. A ceramic disc cartridge tolerates the micro-movements inherent to a vehicle-mounted plumbing system.

Temperature and volume are controlled with one smooth lever motion: rotate for temperature, push or pull for flow rate. New users get it in about five seconds.

Single-Hole Installation -- No Deck Plate Needed

This faucet mounts through a single hole (typically 1-3/8 in. diameter, standard for RV and residential sinks). If your current sink has three holes, a deck plate covers the unused openings -- the deck plate is not included but is widely available as a separate accessory. Supply lines connect to standard 3/8 in. compression or 1/2 in. FIP adapters depending on your RV's plumbing configuration.

DIY Installation Notes

Lippert designed this faucet for owner installation without plumbing trade experience. The process for most RV installations:

  • Shut off the water supply or de-pressurize the onboard pump system.
  • Remove the existing faucet by disconnecting supply lines and loosening the mounting nut from underneath.
  • Drop the Flow Max Bullet through the sink hole and hand-tighten the mounting hardware from below.
  • Connect the hot and cold supply lines to your existing shutoff valves.
  • Restore water pressure and check all connections for leaks before closing the cabinet.

Tools typically needed: basin wrench or adjustable wrench, plumber's tape (Teflon), and a small flashlight for working under the sink. No soldering or special fittings required for most standard RV plumbing hookups.

Maintenance Tips

  • Wipe matte black surfaces with a soft damp cloth -- avoid abrasive scrubbers or acidic cleaners that can dull the PVD finish.
  • Flush the spray head aerator periodically if water pressure drops -- mineral buildup is the most common cause.
  • When winterizing your RV, blow out or drain supply lines as normal; the ceramic cartridge tolerates freeze-thaw cycles better than rubber-seat valves but should not be left with standing water in freezing conditions.
  • Inspect the pull-down hose connection at the spray head annually for signs of wear or drip -- a small amount of thread tape at the fitting resolves most minor weeps.

Important Information -- Read Before Installing

  • This faucet is designed for single-hole mounting only. It will not span a three-hole installation without a separately purchased deck plate.
  • Shut off water supply or disable the onboard pump before removing your existing faucet -- failure to do so will pressurize the work area and may cause water damage inside cabinetry.
  • Do not use abrasive cleaners, steel wool, or bleach-based sprays on the matte black PVD finish -- these will permanently dull or damage the coating.
  • The pull-down hose is not rated for continuous high-pressure operation above standard residential/RV line pressure (typically 40-80 PSI city or up to 55 PSI regulated supply). Use a pressure regulator if your campsite supply is unregulated.
  • This product is intended for cold and hot potable water service only. Not rated for steam or high-temperature lines.
  • Deck plate, supply lines (if not included in your kit), and plumber's tape are not included and may be required for your specific installation.
