Stop wrestling with manual jacks and uneven parking pads. The Ground Control 3.0 automatically levels your 5th-wheel trailer in minutes using six motorized jacks and Hall effect motor sensing -- all controllable from a dash-mounted touchpad or a wireless remote up to 50 feet away.
The Ground Control 3.0 is Lippert's fully integrated electric leveling solution for 5th-wheel trailers. Six heavy-duty motorized jacks -- two front landing gear legs and four rear stabilizing jacks -- work in concert under the direction of a central control module. Press the auto-level button and the system measures your trailer's pitch and roll, then runs the jacks to a level position automatically. No manual measuring, no guesswork, no bubble levels taped to the frame.
When you need fine-tuned control, switch to manual mode and move any individual jack or a paired set independently. The included touchpad mounts inside a front exterior storage compartment and features an LCD screen with clearly labeled function buttons. The wireless touchscreen remote gives you the same full control from up to 50 feet away -- useful for checking clearances or watching jacks deploy from outside.
Onboard sensors and the control module calculate the precise jack movements needed to level the trailer automatically. Level in minutes, not half an hour.
Monitors motor revolutions per minute rather than amp draw for more precise, repeatable jack positioning -- less risk of over-travel or jack binding.
Touchscreen remote FOB lets you watch all four corners of the trailer while operating the jacks -- valuable on uneven sites or tight campground pads.
Each jack includes a mechanical override access point so you can retract or extend manually in the event of a power failure or electrical fault.
The front jacks use a drop-leg design that extends the usable travel range, giving you greater adjustability on unlevel sites without maxing out the jack stroke. They mount to your existing 5th-wheel front landing gear mounting points -- no new holes, no welding up front.
The four rear jacks bolt directly to your trailer frame using the included mounting brackets. They are compatible with 8-inch, 10-inch, and 12-inch trailer frames. Drilling into the frame is required for rear jack installation. No welding is needed anywhere in the installation.
Each jack ships with a large round footplate designed to distribute load across soft ground, grass, gravel, and dirt -- reducing the chance of a jack sinking mid-stay. No separate pad purchase required for standard sites.
The touchscreen remote included in this kit is the same unit sold separately as the LCI Remote FOB (see SKU 045-329164 on rvupgradestore.com). If a replacement remote is ever needed, that is the compatible replacement unit.
