The Lippert 172911 is a replacement assembly for the hydraulic pump in the level up leveling systems used in Lippert Components leveling units.

Pressure balanced pump is more efficient than typically fixed side clearance pumps
External adjusted relief valves
1.2 kW permanent magnet motor
IP 67 rated starter solenoid (pump can be totally submerged in water and still operate)
Valve coils and pump harness plug connections are Deutch connectors ensuring all waterproof connections
The motor has a manual override to allow operation with a cordless driver
Solenoid valves have a manual override to open valves and are essentially zero-leak
Plastic automotive-type tank with large screw-in filler/breather
Mil-spec pilot-operated check (lock) valves
Quiet operation
Flow divider moves 0.8 gallons of fluid per minute with a 95% accuracy rating as opposed to the competition's 39% accuracy rating

Lippert Hydraulic Pump Fluid Recommendations

DO NOT use ATF Type F fluid. Type F ATF is not compatible with LCI hydraulic system seals. Seals will not work properly when this fluid is used.

The following automatic transmission fluid (ATF) recommendations for use in Lippert Components, Inc. (LCI) hydraulic systems are based upon hydraulic system operation in various environmental air temperatures.

1. Operation at air temperatures routinely above 0 °C (32 °F)—above freezing—which also covers most initial OEM fills.

A. Dexron® III/Mercon® ATF
B. Mercon® V ATF
C. Dexron® VI ATF
D. PetroBlend (Mason City, IA) PHO 0022S (synthetic group 3 base blend)
E. Bellman all temp 22 (Bremen, IN)
F. Or any ATF or hydraulic fluid with a pour point lower than -42 °C (-44 °F).

2. Operation at air temperatures routinely below 0 °C (32 °F)—below freezing.
