Stop worrying about your dog or cat pushing through the screen door every time you leave it open for airflow. The Screen Defender installs directly into the existing channels of your Lippert LCI entry door -- no drilling, no adhesives -- and adds a durable aluminum barrier that stands up to paws, noses, and claws.
The Lippert Screen Defender (part 859791, vendor part 72-9010) is purpose-built for Lippert LCI entry doors found on travel trailers, fifth-wheel campers, and motorhomes. It slides into the same aluminum channels your screen already uses, so installation requires no tools and no modifications to your door or frame.
The panel measures 20.5 inches wide and is sized to fit a 24-inch rough-opening entry door. Note that the Screen Defender panel itself will always be shorter than the labeled door size -- the "24 inch" designation refers to your door's rough opening, not the panel's finished dimensions. At 3 lbs., it adds minimal weight and won't affect how your door swings or latches.
Locks directly into the existing screen door channels on any compatible LCI entry door. No screws, no adhesive, no permanent modifications.
Built from the same aluminum material used in LCI door frames. Rigid enough to resist pet pressure while staying lightweight at 3 lbs.
Factory-matched black powder coat blends seamlessly with standard LCI entry door frames and hardware.
Available in multiple widths to fit different LCI door rough openings. This listing is for the 24-inch door size (20.5" panel width).
The Screen Defender panel slides into the vertical channels built into your existing Lippert screen door frame. The fit is snug enough to stay in place under normal pet pressure, and it can be removed just as easily when you don't need it. There are no permanent fasteners involved.
This is the right product if you travel with dogs or cats and want to run your screen door open for ventilation without worrying about your pet forcing through the mesh. It's also useful as a general screen protector against wind-driven debris or accidental contact in tight campsite setups.
The frame and panel are constructed from aluminum -- the same material Lippert uses in the LCI door frame itself -- so expansion and contraction characteristics match your door across temperature swings. The black powder-coat finish is durable and won't peel or flake under normal outdoor RV use.
Backed by a limited 1-year manufacturer warranty from Lippert. Made in the USA.
