The Lippert 211852 is a direct-replacement control module for Lippert in-wall slide-out systems equipped with V-Sync II technology. When your slide-out moves unevenly, hesitates, or stops responding, this controller restores synchronized, reliable operation -- no rewiring, no cutting, no guesswork. Fits directly in place of Lippert part 13398-D0 and Tiffin Motorhomes part 5020226.
Lippert in-wall slide systems use a synchronized dual-motor drive to extend and retract the slide room evenly on both sides. The V-Sync II controller is the brain of that system -- it monitors motor feedback and adjusts drive signals in real time to keep both sides moving at the same rate. A failed or corrupted controller is one of the most common reasons an in-wall slide binds, drifts out of alignment, or throws a fault code.
Part number 211852 (also cross-referenced as Lippert 13398-D0 and Tiffin Motorhomes 5020226) is the correct replacement module for second-generation V-Sync in-wall systems. It installs in the existing wall pocket or bracket using the original wiring harness connectors -- no splicing required in most applications.
Real-time synchronization keeps both slide motors running in step, preventing rack bind and uneven room travel.
Designed to drop in where Lippert 13398-D0 or Tiffin 5020226 was installed. Uses the existing harness connectors.
At 5.75 x 4.25 x 1.5 inches and 0.4 lbs, the module fits the standard Lippert in-wall controller pocket without modification.
Backed by Lippert's 1-year limited warranty against manufacturer defects. Genuine OEM replacement quality.
Lippert's in-wall slide mechanism uses a rack-and-pinion or cable-drive system with a motor at each side of the slide room. Without active synchronization, slight differences in motor speed or load cause one side to lead the other -- eventually binding the room or stressing the seal. V-Sync II continuously compares encoder or current-draw feedback from both motors and trims output to keep them matched. The result is a slide that extends and retracts squarely and smoothly without manual intervention.
When the controller fails, common symptoms include: one side of the slide moving faster than the other, the slide stopping mid-travel and requiring a reset, fault indicators on the coach's slide switch panel, or the slide refusing to move at all despite good battery voltage at the controller.
This controller is sold under multiple part numbers depending on the source. All of the following refer to the same unit:
This controller is designed for Lippert in-wall slide-out systems using the V-Sync II platform. It is NOT compatible with Lippert electric-over-hydraulic (HWH-based) systems, electric through-frame slides, or first-generation V-Sync I controllers. If you are unsure which system your coach has, check the label on your existing controller or reference your coach's slide-out service documentation.
The 211852 controller mounts in the existing in-wall bracket pocket, typically located inside a basement compartment or within the slide room wall cavity. Replacement involves:
