Replaces the Blackstone's regulator tube connection with a Male Model 250 QD Plug — connects directly to your RV's low-pressure quick-disconnect propane port. No more 1 lb disposable bottles. Still allows original regulator connection. Brass. 48K BTU/hr. CSA/CGA 8.3/ANSI Z21.41 certified.
Blackstone portable griddles are a favorite among RV campers — but out of the box, they're designed to run off small 1 lb disposable propane bottles that run out quickly and create waste. The MB Sturgis 204171-MBS Blackstone Griddle Inlet Adapter solves that problem in one simple step: it replaces the existing regulator tube connection on the Blackstone's burner inlet with a Male Model 250 Quick-Disconnect Plug, allowing you to connect the griddle directly to your travel trailer or camper's low-pressure propane system.
With the adapter installed, you simply plug your RV's existing quick-disconnect hose into the griddle's new QD fitting — the same way you'd connect any other QD-equipped appliance to your rig. No wrenches, no tools, no leak testing required at the quick-disconnect connection. Better yet, the conversion still allows you to reconnect the original Blackstone regulator for use with 1 lb disposable bottles when you're away from your RV — giving you the best of both worlds. The 204171-MBS mates with any MB Sturgis or Gas Flow 1/4" quick-disconnect port already installed on your travel trailer or camper.
Plugs directly into your RV's Model 250 quick-disconnect port — no more buying and swapping 1 lb disposable bottles
Male Model 250 QD Plug installs at the griddle's burner inlet — connects and disconnects from your RV propane hose without tools
The conversion preserves the ability to reconnect the original Blackstone regulator for 1 lb bottle use away from the RV
Meets recognized safety certification standards for LP gas conversion fittings
The 204171-MBS adapter converts the Blackstone's burner inlet to accept your RV's low-pressure quick-disconnect system. When this adapter is in use, the griddle is operating on low-pressure RV propane — exactly as intended. Do NOT connect to high-pressure gas sources while this adapter is installed. The Blackstone's burner and valve are designed to operate on low regulated pressure when the factory regulator is bypassed. Using high-pressure gas without an appropriate regulator is a serious safety hazard. When reverting to 1 lb disposable bottle use, remove the 204171-MBS adapter and reconnect the Blackstone's original regulator assembly as supplied by Blackstone.
Before ordering, confirm the following: 1. RV quick-disconnect port: This adapter connects to a female Model 250 (1/4") quick-disconnect port already installed on your RV's low-pressure propane system. If your RV does not have a QD port, you will need to install a Sturgi-Stay T-fitting or similar adapter first. 2. You also need a QD hose: The 204171-MBS is the adapter fitting only — it does not include a hose. You will need a separate Model 250 QD hose (such as the 100395-72-MBS or 100395-120-MBS) to run from your RV's QD port to the griddle's new adapter. 3. Blackstone model compatibility: The adapter replaces the connection at the Blackstone's burner inlet where the regulator tube attaches. Confirm your Blackstone's burner inlet is compatible with the 204171-MBS fitting. MB Sturgis also offers a complete Sturgi-Safe Blackstone Kit (includes both the adapter and a hose) for a one-stop solution.
What You Need: • This adapter (204171-MBS) • A Model 250 QD hose (e.g., 100395-72-MBS or 100395-120-MBS) to run between your RV's QD port and this adapter Conversion Steps: 1. Remove Original Regulator: Disconnect the Blackstone's original regulator tube from the griddle's burner inlet — retain the regulator for future 1 lb bottle use 2. Install Adapter: Thread the 204171-MBS adapter into the Blackstone's burner inlet at the location where the regulator tube was attached 3. Tighten Securely: Tighten the adapter to a secure fit 4. Connect QD Hose: Push your Model 250 QD hose's female coupler onto the adapter's male QD plug until it locks 5. Connect to RV: Plug the hose's other end into your RV's female QD port 6. Leak Test: Open the propane supply and perform a soap-and-water leak test on the adapter connection before lighting the griddle Never use high-pressure gas with this adapter installed. Follow all safety instructions.
