Adds a sturdy handrail to your Gen 2 StepAbove 3-step RV entry system. Bolts directly to existing pre-drilled holes β no new drilling required. Folds with the step for travel and storage. Requires 33" of doorway clearance.
RV entry steps are steeper than household stairs, often wet from rain or dew, and used when carrying gear or groceries β all conditions that make a handrail not just convenient but genuinely important for safety. Many RVs include a small grab handle near the door, but these are typically too high to be useful from the bottom step and awkward to reach mid-climb. The MORryde STP214-121H is a purpose-designed handrail that spans the full height of the step system, providing a secure grip at the right position for every step in and out of the RV.
The STP214-121H is specifically engineered for the Gen 2 StepAbove 3-step system and bolts directly to the pre-existing holes in those steps β no drilling, no modifications, no guesswork. Four bolts attach the handrail to the step at the factory bolt pattern (4.5" top spacing, 1.375" bottom spacing), and the integrated folding mechanism means the handrail folds neatly with the step into the doorway when traveling, staying attached without any removal or storage hassle. Built from steel with a durable black powder-coat finish and proudly made in the USA by MORryde.

The STP214-121H fits only the Gen 2 StepAbove 3-step system. It will not fit Gen 1 StepAbove steps or any other step system. Before ordering, verify your bolt pattern: STP214-121H (This Product) β Gen 2, 3-Step: Top hole spacing: 4.5" | Bottom hole spacing: 1.375" Other handrail models for reference: β’ STP214-120H β Gen 2, 4-Step: Top 6", Bottom 4.5" β’ STP214-029H β Gen 1, 3-Step: Top 5", Bottom single bolt β’ STP214-006H β Gen 1, 4-Step: Top 5", Bottom 5" Measure the spacing between the bolt holes on your existing steps before ordering β the correct spacing is the definitive way to confirm compatibility regardless of what generation label your steps carry.
The STP214-121H handrail stays attached to the step and folds into the RV entrance doorway during travel. A minimum of 33" of clearance inside the doorway is required for the handrail to fold in and allow the steps to stow properly. Measure the clear width of your RV's entrance doorway before purchasing. If your doorway is narrower than 33", the handrail will not be able to fold into the stored position with the step and will interfere with closing the door.
