Add reach to any portable propane appliance without sacrificing flow or safety. The Mr. Heater F273717 is a straight-forward, high-pressure extension hose built for grills, stoves, turkey fryers, and other propane-fed appliances that need more distance from the tank. At 5 feet and under half a pound, it travels easily and connects in seconds.
Running a propane grill or portable stove at a campsite often means the standard stub hose puts your tank too close to the heat source or in an inconvenient location. The F273717 gives you 5 feet of flexible, high-pressure hose so you can position the tank safely and comfortably. The 1/4" MPT male end threads into a standard regulator outlet or POL adapter, and the 1/4" FPT female end receives the appliance inlet fitting -- a common configuration on Mr. Heater buddy heaters, portable grills, camp stoves, and similar equipment.
The hose is rated well above normal operating pressures for portable propane appliances. Stretch testing to 400 PSI and pressure testing to 600 PSI give a wide safety margin over the low-pressure regulator output typical of most appliances (under 1 PSI) or the higher-pressure applications running before a regulator.
Stretch tested to 400 PSI and pressure tested to 600 PSI -- engineered well above normal operating demands for portable propane appliances.
1/4" MPT male on one end, 1/4" FPT female on the other -- matches the most common propane appliance inlet and regulator outlet configurations.
1/4" ID bore allows adequate gas flow for grills, stoves, and portable heaters without restriction through the 5 ft run.
Weighs only 0.3 lbs. Coils down small enough to tuck into a camp kitchen kit, tool bag, or RV outdoor storage compartment.
The 1/4" MPT and 1/4" FPT fittings on this hose use standard National Pipe Thread (NPT) sizing. The male end is compatible with 1/4" female NPT ports found on many regulators, tee fittings, and manifold outlets. The female end receives any 1/4" male NPT appliance inlet fitting. If your appliance or regulator uses a different connection type -- such as a QCC1/Type 1 fitting or an acme nut -- you will need a separate adapter, which is not included.
