The Curt 16721 provides a simple, clean alternative to applying grease directly to the 5th wheel hitch head plate. The 10-inch polyethylene disc slides onto the trailer kingpin and creates a low-friction buffer between the hitch head and pin box during towing.
Its universal design fits standard 5th wheel kingpins and helps reduce normal wear and tear caused by metal-to-metal contact. Because the lube plate remains in place on the kingpin, it also helps eliminate the messy grease buildup commonly found on traditional 5th wheel hitch plates.
