The Flow-Rite BG-U24V-5A is a pre-configured Pro-Fill Universal kit sized for a three-battery, 24-volt bank built from standard 8V deep-cycle batteries -- the most common configuration in golf carts and many RV auxiliary banks. With 2.3-inch center-to-center cell spacing, this kit fits the vast majority of T-875 and similar 8V flooded lead-acid batteries without modification.
Each automatic shut-off valve threads directly into the cell opening, replacing the existing vent cap. The valves are interconnected by pre-cut tubing routed across the battery tops. When you connect a water source to the single fill point, water flows through all interconnected cells until each one reaches the correct electrolyte level -- then every valve closes. Disconnect, done. The whole process takes seconds instead of minutes and virtually eliminates the risk of under- or over-watering.

Overfilling a flooded lead-acid battery dilutes electrolyte, accelerates plate corrosion, and causes acid overflow onto battery terminals and trays. The Pro-Fill float valve eliminates overfill entirely -- it is physically impossible to add too much water once the valve seats. This extends battery life and reduces corrosion-related maintenance throughout the battery compartment.
Always water flooded lead-acid batteries after a full charge cycle, not before. Charging causes electrolyte to expand; watering before charging can push electrolyte out of the cells. With the Pro-Fill system, post-charge watering takes under 60 seconds for the entire bank.
Verify your batteries use 2.3-inch center-to-center cell spacing before ordering this kit. Common 8V batteries that match include the Trojan T-875, U.S. Battery USB-8VGC, and similar format cells. Batteries with different cell spacing require a different Pro-Fill kit SKU. This system is for flooded (wet-cell) lead-acid batteries only -- it is not compatible with AGM, gel, or lithium batteries.
