When your Brisk Air RV air conditioner stops moving air -- or starts humming, vibrating, or tripping the breaker -- the motor and rotating components are usually the culprit. The Dometic 3108706.916 kit replaces everything that spins: dual-shaft motor, condenser fan blade, evaporator blower wheel, and run capacitor, plus the wiring hardware to tie it all back together. One kit, one repair, back to full cooling performance.
The 3108706.916 is Dometic's universal motor kit engineered for the original Brisk Air series rooftop units. Unlike sourcing a motor alone and hoping the shaft lengths match, this kit supplies the correct dual-shaft PSC motor alongside matched rotating components -- the condenser fan blade and squirrel-cage blower wheel -- so airflow through both the condenser and evaporator coils is restored to factory specification.
Worn motor bearings cause vibration, noise, and reduced RPM. Bent or cracked fan blades unbalance the rotor and accelerate wear. Replacing only the motor while leaving damaged wheels shortchanges the repair. This kit addresses all three failure points in a single service call.
Motor, run capacitor, condenser fan blade, evaporator blower wheel, wire nuts, terminals, and a wire lead -- nothing else to order.
Evaporator shaft at 3-13/16" and condenser shaft at 2-1/2" match the OEM mounting geometry of original Brisk Air units exactly.
Fresh motor bearings and factory-balanced wheels lower noise and vibration compared to a worn-out original running past its service life.
Matched blade and blower wheel diameters bring condenser and evaporator CFM back to the values the unit was engineered to deliver.
This kit is designed for the original Brisk Air series rooftop air conditioners. It is not compatible with Brisk Air II units, which use a different motor mounting configuration and shaft geometry.
This is a rooftop service job. Standard practice is to remove the AC shroud from the roof, disconnect the existing motor wiring at the terminal block or wire leads, unbolt the motor mounting bracket, and slide out the old motor and wheels. The new motor installs in reverse order. The run capacitor mounts in the same bracket location as the original.
