The Dirt Devil 9741 is a patented vacuum attachment designed specifically to tackle pet hair, lint, and fine fibers on upholstery, carpet, and fabric surfaces inside your RV, tow vehicle, or home. Its unique pendulum-fiber action continuously self-clears during use -- no stopping to pick hair out of the brush by hand.
Standard vacuum brushes grab pet hair and lint -- then hold onto it, clogging up after just a few strokes. The Dirt Devil 9741 solves this with a row of red pendulum fibers mounted inside a slotted ABS housing. As you push forward, one half of the fibers sweeps hair and lint toward the suction port. As you pull back, the other half lifts clear, expelling the debris into the airstream. The brush cleans itself continuously with every pass.
The result is consistent pickup stroke after stroke -- no matted-brush problem, no stopping to rake debris out with your fingers. This makes the 9741 especially effective on RV upholstery, bunk bedding, dinette cushions, and the fabric headliners common in Class A and Class C motorhomes.

The tool body is molded from Acrylonitrile Butadiene Styrene (ABS) thermoplastic polymer -- the same material used in many vacuum cleaner housings and RV trim components. ABS is resistant to impact, resists distortion from heat buildup during normal vacuum operation, and does not become brittle with age the way some lower-grade plastics do. Periodically open the debris compartment using the slide-lock on the tool body to check for oversized debris accumulation.
