Bring the audio outside. The Furrion FMS5B is a weatherproof 5-inch speaker built specifically for RV exterior mounting, delivering clear, full-range sound at the campsite whether you are streaming music, catching a game, or running audio from an outdoor-capable entertainment system. Its compact 6-inch round housing and straightforward two-bolt mounting pattern make installation simple on most RV sidewalls and patio areas.
Most home audio speakers are not designed for the temperature swings, humidity, road vibration, and UV exposure that come with RV life. The FMS5B addresses all of that with a weatherproof housing rated for exterior use, making it a reliable choice for full-timers who want permanent patio audio and weekend warriors who just want a clean, durable solution without worrying about the weather.
At 15 watts RMS continuous power handling and a 35-watt peak rating, this speaker pairs well with the Furrion DV7200 and similar RV-spec head units and AV receivers. The 4-ohm impedance matches standard single-zone and multi-zone amplifier outputs commonly found in RV entertainment packages.
Designed for exterior RV mounting and built to handle temperature extremes, moisture, and UV exposure typical of outdoor RV environments.
Full-range 5-inch driver covers voice, music, and TV audio without a separate tweeter, keeping installation simple.
6-inch overall diameter and 2-1/4" depth keeps the speaker low-profile on the RV sidewall with minimal protrusion.
Compatible with most RV AV receivers and amplifiers. Pairs directly with Furrion entertainment systems without additional matching hardware.
The FMS5B uses a two-bolt surface-mount configuration. The mounting hole centers are spaced 3-15/16 inches apart, which aligns with common pre-drilled locations on Furrion-equipped RVs and is easy to replicate on a fresh installation. The speaker weighs just under 1 pound (0.96 lbs), so standard RV sidewall materials support it without additional backing plates in most cases.
The FMS5B is designed as a companion speaker for Furrion RV entertainment systems. It is commonly paired with the Furrion Aurora outdoor TV and Furrion DV7200 or STV1000 series receivers. If your RV came factory-equipped with a Furrion multimedia package, this speaker is a direct-fit addition or replacement for the exterior audio zone.
