Stop moving your motorhome just to refill propane. The MB Sturgis Sturgi-Stay Deluxe Kit lets you tap an auxiliary LP cylinder or run a portable high-pressure propane appliance from your existing RV propane system -- using tool-free quick disconnect fittings that snap on and off without wrenches or post-connection leak testing. Everything you need is in the box: a 6-foot feed hose, a 10-foot bulk adapter hose, and the quick disconnect Sturgi-Stay fitting.
The Sturgi-Stay Deluxe Kit was designed specifically for RV owners who want flexibility without hassle. Whether you are boondocking and want to run a portable propane appliance off your coach supply, or you want to connect a refillable auxiliary cylinder so you never have to reposition your rig, this kit handles both use cases from one central fitting.
The heart of the system is the POL-based Sturgi-Stay fitting, which accepts Model 250 quick disconnect plugs. Both hoses ship with mating 250 plugs, so you can swap between the feed hose and the bulk adapter hose in seconds. The POL female outlet side of the fitting maintains connection to your RV system while the QD side handles whichever hose you need at the moment.
Model 250 quick disconnect plugs on both hoses snap into the Sturgi-Stay fitting without wrenches. Designed to seal immediately on engagement -- no post-connect leak test required.
A 6-foot feed hose with POL tank connector and excess flow valve handles the auxiliary cylinder. The 10-foot bulk adapter hose with CGA swivel powers portable high-pressure appliances.
Both hoses and the fitting are rated to 250 PSIG -- well above typical RV low-pressure service. Handles full LP vapor pressure in hot-weather conditions.
Thermoplastic hose rated from -40F to 350F (-40C to 177C), so it remains flexible and safe in cold-weather camping and holds up to summer heat without degrading.
MB Sturgis ships the 103539-MBS as a complete, ready-to-use assembly. No additional adapters are required for standard RV POL tank connections and CGA-600 compatible portable appliances.
The Sturgi-Stay fitting installs between your RV propane system outlet and the auxiliary tank or appliance. The POL outlet side stays connected to your motorhome regulator or system. The two Model 250 quick disconnect sockets face outward -- one for the 6-foot auxiliary tank hose and one for the 10-foot appliance hose. You can use one at a time or, depending on your system, run both if your regulator capacity allows.
The Model 250 quick disconnect design is a dry-break style -- it closes the valve on both the fitting and the plug when disconnected, so you do not need to shut off the tank before swapping hoses. This is the same connector standard used across the MB Sturgis Sturgi-Stay product family, so existing 250-series accessories are compatible.
The Sturgi-Stay fitting connects to your RV propane system at the POL outlet. Typical installations route it between the main shutoff and the first-stage regulator, or at an existing auxiliary port if your system has one. Always shut off the main LP supply valve before installing or removing the fitting.
