The Curt 48006 combines a conventional 2-5/16" trailer ball and heavy-duty pintle hook into one receiver-mounted towing solution. This allows a truck or SUV to tow trailers equipped with either a standard ball coupler or a compatible lunette ring without changing the complete hitch mount.
The solid forged-steel body fits a standard 2" x 2" receiver and uses a spring-loaded locking arm to secure a lunette ring during pintle towing. A carbide black powder-coat finish protects the main body, while the replaceable trailer ball features a hard chrome finish for additional corrosion resistance.

Curt 48006 does not have a 20,000-lb towing rating. Maximum GTW is 12,000 lbs. when using the 2-5/16" trailer ball and 16,000 lbs. when using the pintle hook. Never exceed the lowest-rated component in the towing system.
