Keep your QuadraFire pellet stove burning safely and efficiently. The SRV7000-531 vacuum pressure switch monitors airflow through the firebox, exhaust chamber, vent pipe, and fuel hopper -- shutting down the fuel feed the moment pressure drops below a safe threshold. It is a direct OEM replacement for over 20 QuadraFire pellet stove models and ships with all required hoses.
The vacuum pressure switch is one of the most critical safety components in a pellet stove. It continuously samples negative pressure (vacuum) inside the combustion system. If airflow is restricted -- whether from a blocked vent, a dirty exhaust chamber, or a failed combustion blower -- the switch opens and interrupts the fuel feed circuit before an unsafe condition develops.
When the SRV7000-531 fails, symptoms typically include the stove shutting down unexpectedly, refusing to ignite, or fault codes related to combustion airflow. Replacing this switch with a genuine OEM part restores the original pressure setpoint and eliminates nuisance shutdowns caused by a faulty switch rather than an actual airflow problem.
Closes the feed circuit when negative pressure exceeds 0.05 inches of water column -- the factory-calibrated threshold for safe combustion airflow.
Ships with the vacuum sampling hoses needed for installation. No hunting for the correct hose diameter or length.
Compatible with more than 20 QuadraFire pellet stove models spanning freestanding, insert, and cabinet-style configurations.
Sold as genuine QuadraFire / NBK parts under part number 20097K -- same spec as the original factory component.
The SRV7000-531 is a normally-open vacuum pressure switch. It monitors the negative pressure (vacuum) generated by the combustion blower inside the firebox. When the combustion blower is running correctly and producing adequate draft, the negative pressure rises above 0.05" WC and the switch closes -- completing the circuit that allows the auger motor to feed pellets.
If vacuum is insufficient (blocked flue, failed blower, clogged exhaust passages), the switch remains open, preventing pellet feed and protecting the stove and home from combustion byproduct buildup. This logic means the stove can only run when airflow is verified -- a fundamental safety design in all QuadraFire pellet appliances.
This switch is confirmed compatible with the following QuadraFire pellet stove models. Verify your model number on the rating plate before ordering.
A vacuum pressure switch is inexpensive and easy to swap, but confirm the switch is actually the problem before ordering:
