The Redarc TPH-021 is a vehicle-specific wiring harness that connects a Tow-Pro Elite or Tow-Pro Liberty electric brake controller directly into the factory-fitted tow package connector behind the dash of a range of Toyota models, including the 4Runner, LandCruiser, Sequoia, Tacoma, and Tundra. One end of the harness plugs into the Tow-Pro controller, and the other plugs into the vehicle's existing factory connector, so there's no need to cut, splice, or hardwire into the vehicle's wiring. The harness includes fitting instructions and the loom with its compatible connector.
This harness requires the vehicle to already have a factory-fitted tow package connector. If a specific Toyota model doesn't have one installed, or the model year isn't covered by this harness, the Universal Pigtail (TPH-025), included with the Tow-Pro Elite, is the appropriate alternative, which involves hardwiring the connections into the vehicle-side wiring.
