The Redarc CIKTP-NA-004 is a complete brake controller kit that brings the Tow-Pro Liberty electric brake controller to a Toyota LandCruiser, Sequoia, 4Runner, or early model Tundra and Tacoma. The Tow-Pro Liberty uses inertia-sensing technology, constantly reading the vehicle's braking to apply an equal, proportional braking force to the trailer being towed, helping prevent push or pull force on the tow vehicle. A 3-axis accelerometer allows the main unit to be mounted in any position or orientation under the dash.
Because the kit includes a vehicle-specific Toyota wiring harness and switch insert, installation is fast and plug-and-play, without needing to bring the vehicle in for professional wiring work. This is the Liberty version of Redarc's Tow-Pro range, built for confident highway towing, and does not include Bluetooth connectivity or an LED display, keeping the interface simple and straightforward.
This kit does not include the Tow-Pro Mounting Kit (part #EBMK-001). The Tow-Pro Liberty main unit can be mounted anywhere under the dash using any fastening method, as long as it's secured in a fixed, stable location. If a dedicated mounting bracket is preferred, the EBMK-001 mounting kit is sold separately.
