Stop storing a dirty hose. The Camco 39533 Rinse Cap locks into your 3-inch bayonet or RhinoFlex sewer fitting, connects to a standard garden hose, and blasts a 4-way pressure jet through the hose to flush waste residue and eliminate odors -- every time, before you stow it away.
Sewer hose hygiene is one of the most overlooked parts of RV maintenance. Residue left inside a stored hose breaks down over time, causes persistent odors, and can shorten hose life. The Camco 39533 makes a proper rinse fast and hands-off -- attach a garden hose, open the shut-off valve, and the 4-way jet pattern scours the interior of the hose before you coil it up.
When the rinse is done, close the valve and leave the cap in place. It doubles as a hose end cap during storage, keeping insects, debris, and moisture out of the hose opening.
Four directed water jets create a rotating spray pattern that scrubs the full interior of the hose, not just the center stream.
Secures to any standard 3-inch bayonet sewer fitting, including Camco RhinoFlex and most OEM RV sewer hose ends.
Control water flow without disconnecting the garden hose. Open to rinse, close to stop -- no extra fittings needed.
Leave the cap locked on during transport and storage to seal the hose end and prevent contamination between uses.
After disconnecting your sewer hose from the campsite or dump station, attach the Camco 39533 to the dirty end of the hose using the 3-inch bayonet twist-lock. Thread your standard garden hose onto the yellow female connector (standard 3/4-inch GHT garden hose thread). Open the shut-off valve and water pressure forces through the 4-way nozzle, flushing the hose from end to end. Direct the open hose end toward a drain or dump station inlet, then close the valve and coil the hose for storage.
The Camco 39533 is designed for sewer hose ends that terminate in a 3-inch bayonet (twist-lock) fitting. This is the industry-standard connection found on:
If your hose ends in a swivel bayonet adapter rather than a permanent bayonet collar, the rinse cap will still lock on provided the bayonet tabs are standard 3-inch spacing.
Standing waste residue inside a coiled sewer hose is the primary cause of persistent campsite odors and premature hose degradation. A post-dump rinse with the 39533 takes less than two minutes and significantly reduces the biological load left inside the hose. Over a season of regular use, a rinsed hose will also be noticeably easier to handle and less prone to odor transfer in storage compartments.
