The Remco 25-181 inlet strainer is a dedicated pre-filter designed to snap directly onto Aquajet and Rebel series RV demand pumps. It catches debris before it can score the pump's internal valves or travel downstream to your faucets, shower head, or toilet flush valve -- protecting both the pump and your plumbing fixtures in a single compact unit.
RV fresh-water tanks accumulate sediment, biofilm flakes, and fine particulate over time. Without an inlet strainer, that debris passes directly through the pump's check valves, accelerating wear and reducing flow. The 25-181 mounts at the pump inlet -- before water ever enters the pump head -- so debris is captured where it does the least harm.
The body is molded from polyamide 66 (PA66), a glass-reinforced nylon engineered for continuous contact with potable water. The screen is stainless steel at 50 mesh, fine enough to stop material that damages diaphragm pumps while coarse enough to maintain full flow. A clear acrylic bowl lets you inspect the screen without disassembly.
Stainless steel construction resists corrosion and bacterial adhesion. 50-mesh catches fine particulate before it reaches the pump head or downstream fixtures.
Male quick-connect inlet and female quick-connect outlet match the standard Aquajet and Rebel pump port design -- no tools, no thread tape required for connection.

The 25-181 is a factory-matched strainer for the following Remco pump models. If your pump is listed here, this strainer connects without adapters or modifications:
Verify your pump model number on the label before ordering. The quick-connect fitting design is specific to Remco's Aquajet and Rebel families -- this strainer is not intended for generic garden-hose-thread or NPT-thread pump inlets.
Remco Aquajet and Rebel pumps use a diaphragm-and-check-valve design that is sensitive to particulate. Even small grains of sediment can hold a check valve open, causing the pump to short-cycle or lose prime. An inlet strainer is inexpensive insurance against a pump replacement call in the field.
