The SHURflo 244-2926 is the straight wingnut swivel adapter fitting supplied with SHURflo demand water pumps — the standard connection piece that joins the 1/2" NPT female port on the pump head to a 1/2" ID flexible fresh water hose. It is both an OEM original fitting and a commonly ordered replacement for lost or damaged pump fittings.
The wingnut swivel design allows the fitting to rotate freely during tightening so the hose doesn't twist, and the large knurled wingnut body can be tightened firmly by hand without tools. The nylon construction is rated for fresh water use, compatible with the full range of SHURflo demand pumps that use the 1/2"-14 NPT port. • 1x SHURflo 244-2926 Straight Wingnut Swivel Adapter Hose clamp recommended (sold separately): A stainless steel hose clamp over the barb connection is recommended to prevent hose pull-off under pump pressure.

The wingnut swivel is designed for hand-tightening only. Using pliers or a wrench on the wingnut body can crack the nylon and cause leaks. This fitting is rated for fresh water applications only. Do not use with grey water, black water, or chemical systems.
