Remco engineered the QTS-556 specifically for their Aquajet series RV water pumps. These fittings are not universal -- the 3/4" quick attach end mates with the proprietary quick-connect ports on Aquajet pump bodies, so you get a no-guess, no-adapter installation every time.
The 1/2" MNPT (male national pipe thread) end connects to standard 1/2" NPT plumbing on the water supply or discharge side of the pump. The included O-ring seats in the quick attach fitting to seal the joint without thread tape or pipe dope on the quick attach side.
