A field-ready PTO roller pump kit engineered for agricultural and commercial sprayer applications. The R660C-TAK ships as a complete drive assembly -- cast iron 6-roller pump, torque arm, roller chain, and RMC585410 multi-speed coupler -- so you can mount and run without sourcing separate components. Counter-clockwise rotation, 5/8" keyed shaft, rated at 19.6 GPM and 150 PSI.
The Remco RollMax series has long been the go-to roller pump line for row-crop sprayers, turf equipment, pest control rigs, and liquid fertilizer applicators. The R660C-TAK is the cast iron variant of the 660 platform, offering superior wear resistance and longer service life compared to aluminum-body pumps when handling abrasive or aggressive chemical solutions.
This is a complete kit: everything required to bolt the pump to a PTO-driven application is included in the box. The RMC585410 multi-speed coupler accommodates varying PTO speeds, and the torque arm and drive chain secure the assembly against rotation load. No separate coupler sourcing, no adapter guessing.
High output suitable for boom sprayers, nurse tanks, and high-volume liquid transfer at typical PTO operating speeds.
Handles the pressure demands of most field and commercial sprayer nozzle configurations without cavitation or bypass cycling.
Six rollers deliver smoother flow with less pulsation than 4-roller designs. Cast iron construction resists chemical wear and physical abrasion.
Counter-clockwise rotation with a 5/8" keyed shaft -- verify your PTO drive direction before ordering. CCW is common on left-hand PTO outputs.
Remco packages the R660C-TAK as a turnkey assembly. The kit contains:
Cast iron pump bodies hold up longer when pumping gritty tank mixes, liquid fertilizers with suspended particles, or moderately corrosive herbicides and pesticides. While heavier than aluminum counterparts, the R660C delivers extended service intervals in demanding field conditions where aluminum bodies can wear prematurely at the roller contact surfaces.
Roller pumps are positive-displacement pumps: as the rotor spins, rollers trap liquid between the rotor and the cam ring and push it toward the outlet. Key operational points to understand:
The R660C-TAK is configured for counter-clockwise (CCW) rotation as viewed from the shaft end. Roller pumps are rotation-specific: running a CCW pump on a CW drive, or vice versa, will cause rapid roller and cam ring wear and pump failure. If your PTO drive turns clockwise, you need the CW variant. Check your equipment's PTO rotation before ordering.
