The SHURflo Revolution™ 4008 Series is the industry benchmark for RV fresh water pumps, and the 4008-131-E65 is the aftermarket version of the 4008-131-A65 OEM unit — delivering the same proven performance in a 24-volt configuration. Designed for multi-fixture RV plumbing systems, it provides smooth, on-demand pressurized water delivery to sinks, showers, and appliances throughout the coach.
At the heart of the Revolution™ is a unique one-piece Santoprene diaphragm and internal by-pass system that eliminates rapid cycling, reduces noise, and dramatically extends service life over conventional pumps. The 4-chamber design delivers a steady 3 GPM flow at pressures up to 55 PSI, then shuts off automatically when system pressure is satisfied — restarting only when pressure drops back to 40 PSI. Thermal overload protection and run-dry capability round out the protection features, making this one of the most reliable water pumps available for RV applications.

The SHURflo 4008-131 is sold under two part numbers for the same 24V pump: • 4008-131-A65 — OEM version, sold through RV manufacturer/dealer supply channels • 4008-131-E65 — Aftermarket version (this product), sold through retail and parts distributors Both versions share identical specifications, materials, and performance ratings per the official SHURflo technical data sheet. The only difference is the sales channel designation. If your RV originally came with a 4008-131-A65, the 4008-131-E65 is the correct direct replacement.
The 4008-131-E65 is a 24-volt DC pump. It is not interchangeable with 12V or 115V AC models. Connecting this pump to an incorrect voltage will damage the motor and void the warranty. Check your existing pump's label for voltage before ordering. Common RV water pump voltages: • 12V DC — most common in travel trailers and smaller motorhomes → order 4008-101-E65 • 24V DC — this pump (4008-131-E65) — common in larger coaches and some European-spec RVs • 115V AC — less common → order 4008-171-E65 A 5-amp fuse is recommended on the positive lead. Do not exceed the 30 PSI maximum inlet pressure.
Tools & Supplies Needed: Inline strainer (recommended), ½" barb fittings or push-to-connect, plumber's tape, wire connectors, 5-amp fuse Installation Steps: 1. Disconnect Power: Shut off 24V DC power before beginning any wiring work 2. Mount the Pump: Secure pump in any orientation near the fresh water tank — use rubber-isolated mounts if possible to reduce vibration noise 3. Install Inlet Strainer: A strainer upstream of the pump inlet is strongly recommended to protect the diaphragm from debris 4. Connect Plumbing: Attach ½" supply line to the inlet port and ½" distribution line to the outlet port using thread tape on fittings 5. Wire the Pump: Connect the red (10") lead to the positive 24V DC supply through a 5-amp fuse; connect the black (13") lead to ground 6. Prime & Test: Open a faucet, restore power, and allow pump to prime and build pressure. Check all connections for leaks.
