Bladder-type accumulator tank for low-flow water systems. 3⁄8" John Guest push-fit connection, 125 PSI max, NSF food-grade materials. Made in the USA.
The Remco RACT-820-JG is a professional-grade bladder-type pressure storage vessel engineered to smooth out water delivery in demand-driven freshwater systems. By holding water under pressure, the tank provides additional storage that assists the pump in meeting total system demand — reducing the wear and tear that comes from constant on/off cycling.
The 3⁄8" John Guest push-fit connection is the key differentiator from the NPT variant — John Guest fittings are the standard in RO and water filtration systems, allowing this tank to connect directly to 3⁄8" John Guest tubing without any threading, wrenches, or thread tape. Simply push the tubing into the fitting for a leak-free connection in seconds. This makes the RACT-820-JG the go-to accumulator for reverse osmosis systems, under-sink water filtration, and any freshwater plumbing that uses John Guest push-fit tubing throughout.
Compact enough to fit in tight spaces and mountable in any position with the included brackets, this tank installs anywhere on the pressurized side of your plumbing. Built from NSF-certified food-grade materials and factory tested for performance, it works equally well in RV, marine, and residential low-flow setups.
⚠️ Note: This tank is not for use with Remco AQUAJET variable-speed pumps. Use with AQUAJET can cause the pump to continue running after flow is stopped, building extreme pressures that may result in leaks or pipe damage.
Minimizes hydraulic noise, water hammer, and pressure spikes throughout your plumbing system
Dampens rapid on/off cycling that wears out pressure switch-controlled pumps prematurely
Tool-free push-fit connection — no threading, no wrenches, no tape. Just push 3⁄8" JG tubing in for an instant seal
100% factory tested for flow and pressure performance before shipping
This accumulator tank is designed for freshwater applications only. Do not use with saltwater, chemicals, or non-potable water sources. Installing on a system that exceeds the 125 PSI maximum pressure rating may damage the tank or cause leaks. Always ensure your system pressure falls within the operating range before installation.
The RACT-820-JG is well-suited for any low-flow freshwater plumbing system using 3⁄8" John Guest push-fit tubing, including: Filtration & RO Systems: • Reverse osmosis and under-sink water filtration systems • Point-of-use water treatment using John Guest push-fit tubing • Water purification and dispensing equipment RV & Recreational: • RV and coach water systems using JG push-fit plumbing • Travel trailer and motorhome freshwater lines Marine & Residential: • Boat and marine freshwater systems • Cabin and off-grid water supply with JG connections Not compatible with Remco AQUAJET variable-speed pumps.
Installation is straightforward — no special tools required: 1. Choose Your Location: Select any point on the pressurized (outlet) side of your water pump. The tank can be mounted in any orientation. 2. Mount the Brackets: Attach the included mounting brackets to a wall, cabinet, or frame near your pump installation. 3. Connect the Tank: Push your 3⁄8" John Guest tubing firmly into the push-fit fitting until it clicks and seats fully. No tools, thread tape, or wrenches needed. To disconnect, depress the collet ring and pull the tubing out. 4. Secure the Tank: Fasten the tank body to the mounted brackets in your preferred orientation. 5. Restore Pressure & Test: Pressurize the system and check all connections for leaks. The tank ships pre-charged to 20 PSI and is ready to operate immediately. Tip: Install as close to the pump outlet as possible for maximum pulsation dampening benefit.
