The R880C delivers maximum-volume roller pump performance for PTO-driven spray systems, nurse tanks, and high-demand liquid transfer. Eight cast iron rollers, a 24.5 GPM flow rate, and a robust 150 PSI pressure rating make this pump the go-to choice for commercial spraying, large-acreage applications, and demanding field conditions.
The Remco RollMax R880C is an 8-roller, cast iron roller pump engineered for high-flow PTO and engine-driven spray systems. Where smaller 4- or 5-roller pumps fall short on volume, the 8-roller design moves liquid at 24.5 GPM while maintaining up to 150 PSI -- giving you the flow rate needed to run multiple boom sections, large nozzle arrays, or high-volume nurse tank transfers without pressure drop.
Cast iron construction stands up to fertilizers, herbicides, insecticides, and other agricultural chemicals that attack lesser materials. The 15/16" keyed shaft and counter-clockwise (CCW) rotation match the output specs of common tractor PTO gearboxes and engine-drive configurations, and 1" FNPT inlet and outlet ports simplify plumbing with standard spray system fittings.
More rollers mean smoother, higher-volume flow and reduced pulsation compared to 4- or 6-roller alternatives at the same RPM range.
Rated for 24.5 GPM -- enough to run multiple boom sections or fill tanks at speed. Matched to PTO and engine-drive RPM ranges.
150 PSI rating supports boom spraying, high-lift transfer, and spray guns. Always install a pressure relief valve in the circuit.
Durable cast iron housing resists wear from agricultural chemicals, fertilizers, and abrasive liquid concentrates in field conditions.
Roller count directly affects both volume and flow smoothness. The R880C's 8-roller configuration produces higher flow per revolution and less pulsation than a 4- or 6-roller pump of equivalent size, making it the preferred choice when you need to maximize output from a given PTO shaft speed.
The R880C is built for counter-clockwise (CCW) rotation -- the standard output direction for many tractor-side PTO gearboxes and belt/chain-driven spray pump setups. Confirm your drive's rotation direction before ordering. Running a CCW pump in CW rotation will not move fluid and can damage the pump body.
The 15/16" keyed shaft is a common PTO and engine-drive interface for this pump class. Verify your coupler or hub bore matches 15/16" before assembly. Couplers, shaft keys, and mounting hardware are not included with the pump body unless ordered as part of the R880C-TAK complete kit (see below).
If you need a ready-to-mount package, the R880C-TAK includes the R880C pump body plus the coupling, shaft key, and mounting components needed for a complete installation. Order the pump body (R880C) if you are replacing a pump in an existing mount; order the TAK kit for a new build.
Both the inlet and outlet ports are 1" FNPT (female National Pipe Thread). This is a standard fitting size in agricultural and industrial spray plumbing. Most spray system hose barbs, ball valves, and manifolds thread directly into 1" FNPT without adapters. Use PTFE thread tape or pipe dope rated for the chemicals you are pumping.
Roller pumps are positive-displacement devices. A pressure relief valve must be installed in the discharge circuit to protect the pump, plumbing, and hoses from over-pressure if a nozzle or valve is closed while the pump is running. Failure to install a relief valve can result in hose failure or pump damage.
