Remco Industries 5.3 GPM / 55 PSI 110 VAC -- Professional Grade

Remco 55REBEL-65C Power RV Fresh Water Pump -- 110VAC, 3/4" Quick-Attach Female Ports

When your RV water system demands consistent, high-flow pressure from a standard AC power source, the Remco 55REBEL-65C delivers. Running on 110VAC, this pump moves 5.3 gallons per minute at a robust 55 PSI cutoff -- making it one of the most capable fresh water pumps available for motorhomes, fifth wheels, and park-model RVs connected to shore power or a generator.

AC-Powered Fresh Water Performance for Demanding RV Applications

Most RV fresh water pumps run on 12VDC, but the Remco 55REBEL-65C is built around a 110VAC motor -- the same voltage as your RV's shore power outlets. That means no inverter, no battery drain, and no voltage-drop issues with long wire runs. When you are plugged in or running a generator, this pump operates at full efficiency from the moment you switch it on.

The 3/4" quick-attach female ports on both the inlet and outlet simplify installation and replacement. Standard 3/4" garden-hose-thread fittings mate directly, and the quick-attach design allows tool-free line disconnects for winterization, service, or pump swap-out.

5.3 GPM Flow Rate

High-volume delivery supports multiple fixture demand -- shower, sink, and toilet simultaneously -- without pressure drop.

55 PSI Pressure Switch

Automatic demand-activated shutoff at 55 PSI means the pump cycles on and off to maintain consistent line pressure.

110VAC Motor

Runs directly from shore power or a generator -- no inverter required, no 12V battery draw, full performance at all times.

3/4" Quick-Attach Ports

Female quick-attach inlet and outlet accept standard 3/4" fittings for fast installation, winterization, and service.

Why Choose an AC-Powered RV Water Pump?

  • No inverter required -- plugs directly into your RV's 110VAC system
  • Zero battery draw -- protects house batteries during extended shore-power stays
  • Consistent motor speed regardless of battery state-of-charge
  • Ideal for park models, resort camping, and motorhomes with large fresh water tanks
  • Higher flow rate than most 12VDC pumps in the same price class

Port and Plumbing Compatibility

The 55REBEL-65C features 3/4" quick-attach female ports on both the inlet and outlet. In most RV installations, the inlet connects to the fresh water tank pickup line and the outlet feeds the main supply manifold. Standard 3/4" garden hose thread (GHT) fittings are compatible. If your existing plumbing uses 1/2" barbed fittings common in older RVs, transition adapters are available separately at most RV supply stores.

The pump is self-priming and can be mounted horizontally or vertically -- wet-end down is recommended to extend seal life on horizontal mounts.

Installation and Wiring Notes

  • This pump requires a dedicated 110VAC circuit -- wire gauge and circuit protection must be sized per local electrical codes and the pump's amperage draw.
  • Use a GFCI-protected outlet when installing in wet or below-floor compartments.
  • A pressure accumulator tank is strongly recommended to reduce pump cycling and extend motor life.
  • Install an inline strainer on the inlet side to prevent debris from damaging the pump head.
  • Not intended for use with saltwater or non-potable water sources.

Maintenance and Winterization Tips

  • Blow out or drain the pump head before winter storage -- standing water can crack the pump body if it freezes.
  • The quick-attach ports make line disconnection fast for antifreeze bypass or blow-out procedures.
  • Inspect inlet strainer at the start of each season and clean as needed.
  • If the pump runs but does not build pressure, check for air leaks on the inlet side and verify the pressure switch is functioning.

Important Information -- Read Before Installing

  • 110VAC ONLY: This pump is NOT compatible with 12VDC or 24VDC systems. Do not attempt to power it from a DC source or inverter rated below its startup amperage draw.
  • Potable Water Only: The 55REBEL-65C is designed for fresh, potable water. Do not use with saltwater, gray water, black water, or chemical solutions.
  • Freeze Protection: Drain the pump completely before temperatures drop below 32 deg F. Frozen water in the pump head will cause irreparable damage not covered under warranty.
  • Strainer Required: Operating without an inlet strainer voids protection against debris damage and can cause rapid wear or failure of the pump diaphragm and valves.
  • GFCI Circuit Required: Any 110VAC pump installed in a damp or below-floor RV compartment must be on a GFCI-protected circuit per NEC and most RV manufacturer guidelines.
  • Accessories Not Included: Accumulator tank, inlet strainer, port adapters, and wiring hardware are sold separately.
