The Aquajet ARV replaces the sluggish single-speed pumps that thump, cycle, and starve your fixtures under load. Its patented five-chamber diaphragm design and variable-speed motor deliver a smooth, steady 5.3 GPM at up to 65 PSI -- residential-quality pressure across every faucet, shower, and toilet in your rig, simultaneously.
If your current RV pump cycles on and off in short bursts, buzzes through the walls, or loses pressure when two fixtures run at once, the 55AQUAJET-ARV is the direct upgrade. Remco's variable-speed controller reads demand in real time and ramps motor speed to match -- eliminating rapid on/off cycling and the pressure spikes that cause it.
The five-chamber positive displacement diaphragm distributes pumping work across more strokes per revolution, smoothing out the flow pulse that makes single- and three-chamber pumps feel choppy. The result is water delivery that genuinely feels like a home water supply, not an RV pump.
Motor speed adjusts automatically to match demand -- no short cycling, no pressure spikes, no pump noise when flow is low.
More chambers per revolution means smoother flow with less pulsation compared to 3-chamber designs. Santoprene diaphragm resists cracking and chemical attack.
Pulls water from a tank up to 14 feet below the pump. Safe for dry run -- the motor will not burn out if water supply is interrupted.
Thermal shutoff at 180 deg F and low-voltage protection down to 11.5 VDC keep the pump and motor safe under demanding conditions.
Conventional RV pumps run at one speed: full throttle. They turn on when pressure drops below a threshold and shut off when it climbs back up. Every time a faucet opens or closes, the pump cycles. At low demand -- like a trickle at the bathroom sink -- a fixed-speed pump still blasts at full power, creating surges and noise.
The Aquajet ARV uses an integrated variable-speed controller to ramp motor output up or down continuously. Crack open a faucet halfway and the pump runs at half speed, quietly, without cycling. Open everything at once and it climbs to full output. This also extends motor life significantly by eliminating the high-current inrush that occurs at every hard start.
Remco builds the Aquajet ARV in the USA with components rated for long-term potable water contact. The polypropylene housing resists corrosion and scale. EPDM valves handle the flexing and pressure cycling that diaphragm pumps demand. The Santoprene diaphragm is chemically compatible with standard RV water treatment products and remains flexible across a wide temperature range.
The 55AQUAJET-ARV carries a full set of safety and potable-water certifications that many competing pumps lack:
The Aquajet ARV mounts to any flat surface using the metal base and rubber-grommet feet. Four mounting points isolate vibration from the chassis or floor. Typical inline placement is between the fresh water tank outlet and the main water distribution line, upstream of any filter. The 14 AWG leads connect directly to a 12V fused circuit -- the included 10 Amp AGC fuse installs in line with the positive lead.
