The N2222D is an inner garnish — it installs on the interior ceiling of your RV to finish the inside of a skylight opening. It is not a roof-mounted outer dome. If you need a replacement for the exterior roof-mounted dome, you need a matching outer skylight. This product is for the interior ceiling piece only — no roof access is required for installation.
The Specialty Recreation N2222D is the interior ceiling replacement for RVs with 22"×22" square ceiling openings. At 6" bubble height, this is a notably tall inner dome — providing a generous clearance envelope between the ceiling plane and the top of the dome, which is particularly useful in larger Class A motorhomes and fifth wheels where ceiling-to-roof distances are greater.
The white ABS frame blends with most RV interior ceiling panels, while the clear polycarbonate bubble passes maximum natural light from the exterior skylight above. The smooth glossed surface is easy to clean from inside the coach, and the 24"×24" flange sits flat against the ceiling surface with a 1" overlap on all sides of the 22"×22" opening.

Unlike outer dome skylights (which can be equal to or larger than the opening), inner garnishes must match the ceiling hole size exactly. This skylight fits a 22"×22" square ceiling opening only. Measure your ceiling opening carefully before ordering. An inner garnish that is too small will fall through; one that is too large will not seat flush against the ceiling surface.
The Specialty Recreation Inc. product warranty covers defects in workmanship and materials for 1 year from the date of purchase. Warranty does not apply to damage caused by improper installation.
