No roof access is required for installation. Cracked Ice Top: The dome/bubble portion is cracked ice — a lightly textured translucent finish between clear and white that diffuses light softly. The frame is white ABS. This inner garnish is designed to match the SL1422E-LP ice outer dome for a coordinated appearance inside and out. If you've installed or are installing the SL1422E-LP outer dome (or the K1422ELP kit that includes it), this is the matching interior piece for the 14"×22" ceiling opening.
