The Suburban 071246 grommet is an OEM replacement rubber insert designed to secure the burner grate on compatible Suburban RV cooktops. This small grommet fits into a hole on the cooktop surface and holds one of the grate's pegs in place, keeping the grate stable while cooking rather than shifting or rattling around, especially useful after the original grommet has hardened, cracked, or worn down over time.
This same grommet is also sold as a 4-pack under part #071246-4, if more than one is needed.
