Third-generation (3G) Direct Spark Ignition control board with integrated fan control for Suburban SF and NT series RV furnaces. Manages ignition sequencing, blower motor operation, flame monitoring, and safety lockout. Replaces Suburban OEM part numbers 520820 and 232613. This is a 12V DC board -- it will NOT replace 24V AC control boards. Replacement cover is not included.
The Suburban 521099 is the aftermarket replacement for the third-generation (3G) DSI fan control board used in Suburban SF and NT series RV propane furnaces. This board manages every stage of the furnace cycle: pre-purge blower run, ignition spark timing, flame signal sensing, blower-on delay after ignition, and safety lockout if ignition fails or the flame signal is lost.
When your Suburban furnace shows symptoms like no ignition spark, blower running but no heat, lockout after one or two tries, or a board that appears burned or has cracked solder joints, this is the board to replace. The 521099 (3G) replaces the earlier 520820 and 232613 boards across a wide range of Suburban SF and NT furnace models.
Third-generation direct spark ignition logic manages pre-purge, spark timing, flame sensing, and post-cycle blower run automatically.
On-board fan relay controls blower motor start, run, and shutdown delays -- no separate relay or fan timer module needed.
If ignition fails or flame signal is lost mid-cycle, the board locks out and shuts down the gas valve, protecting against unburned propane accumulation.
Designed exclusively for 12V DC RV electrical systems. Direct replacement for battery-powered RV furnace applications.
The 521099 3G board is used across the Suburban SF and NT series furnace lineup, including commonly installed units such as:
Always confirm the board part number printed on your existing board before ordering. The 521099 replaces 520820 and 232613 only -- it does not replace 24V AC boards used in residential or commercial applications.
Suburban furnaces used in RV applications run on 12V DC. Some Suburban furnace boards are rated for 24V AC and are NOT interchangeable. Check the label on your existing board for voltage before purchasing. Installing a 12V board in a 24V system (or vice versa) will damage the board and may damage the furnace.
Not every furnace no-heat call is a bad board. Before replacing the 521099, rule out these common causes:
If the board shows visible burn marks, cracked traces, or bulging components, or if it goes straight to lockout with no spark output, the 521099 replacement board is the correct repair.
