The 6258APW is designed for use with Suburban SF Series propane furnaces, including SF-Q Series models. It is an optional exterior access door — not all SF Series installations require it, but it provides a significant convenience advantage when installed. Confirm your furnace is a Suburban SF or SF-Q Series model before ordering. Also verify the cutout dimensions against your RV sidewall opening.
The Suburban 6258APW is an optional exterior access door for Suburban SF Series furnaces that allows installation and routine servicing to be performed from outside the RV rather than from inside a tight cabinet or compartment. For furnaces installed in difficult-to-reach interior locations, this door can dramatically simplify annual maintenance, filter checks, and troubleshooting.
The assembly consists of a metal door secured to a plastic frame that mounts to the RV sidewall. The air intake and exhaust tube from the furnace pass through the door opening. The door closes cleanly over the opening when not in use. Polar White color blends with most white RV exteriors. Four mounting screws secure the frame to the wall.

This product is the access door assembly only. The exhaust vent / air intake and exhaust tube is not included — it is provided with the Suburban SF Series furnace itself or available separately. If you are replacing a damaged or missing door only, this is the correct part. If you need the exhaust vent as well, verify the correct vent part number for your specific furnace model.

Cutout required: An 8-9/32" × 18-7/32" opening in the RV sidewall is needed to mount this door. Mounting: The plastic frame mounts to the RV sidewall with four screws (not included). The metal door then secures to the frame. Exhaust tube: The furnace's air intake and exhaust tube inserts through the door opening — ensure the tube from your furnace is compatible with this door. Consult your Suburban SF Series furnace installation manual for complete exterior door installation guidance.
The 6258AEB is the same access door in black — suitable for RVs with black or dark exterior panels or for matching black furnace vent areas.
