Heavy-duty motion control for larger coaches. Controls excessive sway, body roll, bounce and rocking in air bag equipped motorhomes. Sold as a set of 2 units for plastic airlines only.
If you own a larger motorhome with air suspension weighing over 30,000 lbs, you've probably experienced that unsettling rocking and rolling sensation when driving into or out of driveways, over bumps, or across uneven roads. The SuperSteer SSE6075 Motion Control Unit is a simple, effective, and inexpensive solution specifically designed for heavier coaches.
The SSE6075 features heavier baffling optimized for coaches over 30,000 lbs GVWR. The MCU installs directly in your airbag supply lines and contains an internal baffle that prevents rapid movement of air into and out of the airbags. This results in significantly improved compression, reduced sway, increased stability, and stronger rebound characteristics - all of which combine to create a noticeably smoother ride. You'll feel the difference immediately in all driving conditions, from highway cruising to navigating parking lots.
Heavier baffling specifically designed for coaches 30,000 lbs GVWR and above
Responds immediately to compression forces from rolling, sway, or bounce on air suspension
Built to last the life of your coach with no moving parts or maintenance required
Includes 2 motion control units to handle one pair of airbags (front or rear)
This SSE6075 is designed for 1/2" outer diameter plastic air lines only. Front and rear air lines on your RV may be DIFFERENT SIZES. Measure both separately to ensure you order the correct size for each application. How to measure: Use a caliper or ruler to measure the outer diameter of your plastic air line. This unit requires 1/2" (0.500 inch) air line. SuperSteer offers MCUs in multiple sizes: 1/4", 3/8", 1/2", 5/8", and 3/4". Note: Motion Control Units only work with plastic air lines, not metal or braided lines.
SuperSteer offers TWO different baffling ranges for each air line size: Under 30,000 lbs GVWR (SSE6065): Lighter baffling for coaches weighing up to 29,999 lbs Over 30,000 lbs GVWR (This SSE6075): Heavier baffling for coaches weighing 30,000 lbs and up SuperSteer Recommendation: For most applications, use the lighter MCUs (under 30K) for the FRONT of your coach and heavier MCUs (over 30K) for the REAR. This provides optimal support without compromising ride quality in the front. Important: If your RV is very large and/or heavy (40,000 lbs or larger), use the over 30,000 lb rated units (like this SSE6075) for BOTH front and rear applications for maximum stability and control.
Most Freightliner, Spartan, Tiffin Powerglide, and Country Coach chassis: • 2 SETS needed for complete front and rear application • 1 set for the 2 front airbags • 1 set for the 2 rear airbags Most Monaco Roadmaster and Magnum Air chassis: • 4 SETS needed for complete front and rear application • 2 sets for the 4 front airbags • 2 sets for the 4 rear airbags Check your specific chassis configuration to determine the exact number of airbags and MCU sets required.
Installation is straightforward: 1. Locate the plastic air supply line(s) to your airbags 2. Cut the air line at the appropriate location 3. Insert the Motion Control Unit between the cut sections 4. Secure connections with supplied hardware 5. Test system for proper operation and leaks Professional installation recommended if you're not familiar with air suspension systems. Most RV service centers can install MCUs in approximately 0.75 hours per set.Download the SuperSteer SSE6075 Motion Control Unit Installation Instructions
