The A10-50INBKVP mounts through a cutout in the RV's exterior wall or existing junction box opening. The two mounting holes (center-to-center spacing: 2-7/16 inches) accept standard hardware to draw the inlet flush against the wall surface. The wiring connection is made inside the coach wall to your rig's 50 amp feed -- four conductors: two hot legs (typically black and red), one neutral (white), and one ground (green).
This inlet accepts 50 amp NEMA 14-50 style male plugs -- the same connector used on Valterra's own Mighty Cord 50 amp extension cords and the industry-standard shore power cords supplied with most 50 amp RVs. It is not compatible with 30 amp (TT-30) or 15/20 amp cord sets without an adapter.
