Shock Protection for Wet or Exposed Locations

The Valterra Diamond Group DG15VP is a ground fault circuit interrupter (GFI/GFCI) receptacle, designed for use where a receptacle is needed close to pipes, water, or other exposed locations, both indoors and outdoors. It senses ground faults and miswiring to help protect against electrical shock, and a reset button with a lock-out function helps protect the receptacle's circuitry from damage due to disabling voltage surge spikes. An LED indicator light shows the receptacle's status, signaling no power, miswiring, or end-of-life when it's no longer providing GFI protection. It's rated for use on overcurrent-protected 15 or 20 amp, 120V AC grounded two-wire branch circuits, and is UL listed and CSA approved.
