Replacement city water inlet with a built-in brass check valve, solving a common leaky or failed check valve problem while keeping the connector recessed and protected within a white powder-coated metal flange.
The Valterra A01-0176LFVP is a replacement city water inlet built to solve a broken or leaking check valve, a common failure point on older RV water inlets. The white metal flange has a durable powder-coat finish and sits in a recessed mount, keeping the connector cap from protruding past the RV's sidewall. Inside, a brass check valve prevents backflow, while a garden hose swivel fitting with a gripping ring and built-in screen make hookups easy and help keep debris out of the water line. A press-in dust plug covers the connector when not in use. The unit connects via 1/2" female pipe thread (FPT) brass fitting, and includes an adapter nipple to convert this to a 1/2" male pipe thread (MPT) connection if needed. It's lead-free and conforms to federal and state drinking water fixture regulations.
Some original factory inlets used a square shape held with four screws; this round replacement uses only three mounting holes but typically matches a similar overall diameter, so it's usually a straightforward swap even when the original shape was different.
