The Viair 450P-RV is the RV-optimized version of Viair's popular 450P compressor. The core unit is identical — same permanent magnetic motor, same 150 PSI max pressure, same 100% duty cycle at 100 PSI, same 1-hour continuous runtime. What sets the RV kit apart is the accessories package: a second 30-foot extension hose for 60 feet of total reach, and two dually-specific tire chucks that make it practical to inflate the inner tires of dual rear wheel setups without contorting to reach the valve stem.
The automatic shut-off function is what differentiates the 450P-series from standard portable compressors. Rather than manually switching the unit off between tires or whenever you want to check pressure mid-fill, the 450P-RV only runs when the trigger on the inflation gun is depressed. Release the trigger, check the pressure, move to the next tire — the compressor follows you.

The included coil hoses can become brittle with prolonged UV or sunlight exposure — store the hoses in the carry bag when not in use. Do not allow the hose to contact the compressor head during operation (melting hazard). Hoses are not recommended for use in sub-zero or freezing conditions.

If you have a Class A motorhome, fifth wheel, or any vehicle with dual rear wheels, the 450P-RV is the correct kit. The standard 450P is suited for passenger vehicles, trucks, and off-road use where the extra hose length and dually chucks aren't needed.
