The Xantrex 808-1840 is a remote control panel for compatible Freedom HF inverter/charger systems. It allows the user interface to be located away from the inverter/charger, making it easier to view system status and control the unit from inside the RV, boat, work truck, or vehicle.
This is useful when the Freedom HF is installed in an electrical compartment, storage bay, cabinet, or other location where the built-in panel is difficult to access. The remote panel connects using a compatible Xantrex telephone-style remote cable, sold separately unless included with the original inverter/charger package.

Xantrex 808-1840 is listed for Freedom HF inverter/chargers. It should not be listed as a Freedom SW remote panel unless verified separately for a specific installation.
