The Xantrex 809-0820 is the L-Kit in Xantrex's DC Battery Cable and Fuse series — purpose-built for connecting 1400–2300W (12V) or 2800–4600W (24V) inverters and inverter/chargers to their battery bank. It includes a pre-terminated pair of 8-foot, 2/0 AWG copper-stranded cables, a correctly-sized 300A inline fuse assembly, and adhesive cable ties for clean, drill-free cable management.
The automotive-grade, highly flexible cables are designed for tight installation spaces common in RV bays and marine engine compartments. Before installing: • Ensure your inverter's rated wattage falls within the 1400–2300W (12V) range for this kit • Disconnect your battery bank before beginning any DC wiring work • The fuse assembly should be installed as close to the positive battery terminal as practical — within 18 inches is the common recommendation • Adhesive cable ties can be applied to most clean, dry surfaces without drilling • Refer to your inverter/charger's installation guide for DC terminal torque specs and wiring diagrams
