The Xantrex 809-0915 Freedom SW Automatic Generator Start module adds automatic generator control to compatible Xanbus-based Freedom SW inverter/charger systems. When properly installed and configured, the AGS can start a compatible generator automatically to recharge batteries, support heavy loads, or respond to climate-control demand.

This AGS module is designed for compatible Xantrex Freedom SW and Freedom SW-RVC inverter/charger systems using a Xanbus network. Setup and programming require compatible Xanbus control equipment, such as the appropriate Xantrex System Control Panel. Generator wiring varies by generator brand and start/stop control type. Confirm generator remote-start compatibility and required wiring before installation.
Automatic generator start systems can start the generator without someone manually pressing a start switch. Disable the generator starting circuit before wiring, servicing, fueling, or performing maintenance.
