Professional hydraulic landing gear with independent side-to-side leveling. 24,000 lb combined capacity with dual pumps and weatherproof controls. Made in America.
Eliminate manual hand cranking forever with the Bigfoot SQI24 dual pump hydraulic landing gear system. Designed for horse trailers, cargo trailers, heavy equipment haulers, and open trailers requiring dual legs, this professional-grade system delivers independent jack control for precise side-to-side leveling on uneven terrain. Each of the two SQI24 square leg jacks has its own dedicated marine-grade pump assembly, giving you complete control through separate weatherproof toggle switches.
With a combined lifting capacity of 24,000 lbs (12,000 lbs per jack) and 24 inches of travel, this system handles the heaviest loads with speed and reliability. The dual pump configuration means faster lifting compared to single-pump slaved systems, as each pump operates at full capacity without sharing hydraulic flow. Manufactured by Quadra Manufacturing in White Pigeon, Michigan with heavy-duty tube-in-tube construction, IP65-rated weatherproof controls, and black powder coat finish for years of dependable service in all weather conditions.
Dual pumps with separate switches allow side-to-side leveling - adjust each jack individually on uneven ground
12,000 lbs per jack - handles heavy horse trailers, cargo haulers, and loaded equipment trailers
Dual pump design lifts faster than single-pump systems - each pump works at full capacity
Built by Quadra Manufacturing in Michigan with 5-year cylinder warranty coverage
Two Pumps, Complete Flexibility: The SQI24 standard system features two separate marine-grade hydraulic pump assemblies mounted in a weatherproof control box rated IP65 for water and weather resistance. Each pump is dedicated to one jack cylinder, giving you full independent control through individual toggle switches. Want to raise just the left side to compensate for sloped ground? Press the left switch. Need to lower only the right side? Use the right switch. Need both jacks to move together for faster operation? Press both switches simultaneously. Advantages of Independent Control: • Level trailer side-to-side on sloped parking surfaces • Compensate for uneven weight distribution • Adjust trailer height for loading/unloading operations • Fine-tune level after initial setup • Faster lifting speed with each pump at full capacity Each pump can be mounted directly to its corresponding jack (standard configuration) or remotely mounted anywhere on your trailer frame for better weight distribution or improved compartment clearance. All hydraulic lines, JIC fittings, and wiring harnesses come complete in the kit for straightforward installation.
Hydraulic Components: • Two SQI24 Square Leg Jack Cylinders (35" retracted, 24" stroke each) • Two Marine-Grade Pump/Motor Assemblies • Hydraulic Hoses (Universal Length) • JIC Hydraulic Fittings • Two Large Swivel Foot Pads • Steel Jack Top Caps (Protective Covers) • Pump Assembly CoversDownload the Bigfoot SQI24 Installation Manual Electrical Components: • Weatherproof Dual Control Box (IP65 Rated) with Key Lock • Complete Wiring Harnesses for Both Pumps • 120-Amp In-Line Circuit Breaker • 5 Feet of 4 AWG Battery Cable • Complete Wire Connector Kit Mounting Hardware: • Universal Adjustable Mounting Brackets (Set of 2) • Complete Installation Hardware Kit (Bolts, Nuts, Washers) NOT Included (Purchase Separately): • 6 Quarts Dexron III Automatic Transmission Fluid
Professional Installation Recommended: While this system uses universal mounting brackets and bolt-on installation (no welding required), proper installation is critical for safe operation. Each pump assembly must be securely mounted with adequate protection from road debris. Frame Compatibility: Verify your trailer frame can accommodate dual 4.5" x 4.5" square jack tubes and two pump assemblies. Measure available space and ground clearance before ordering. Hydraulic Fluid Requirement: System requires approximately 6 quarts of Dexron III ATF for initial fill and bleeding. Use only ATF-compatible fluids (Dexron II/III, ATF+4, Mercon, Mercon V). No Manual Override: This standard model does not include manual override capability. If you need emergency backup operation during power loss, consider the 2DMO-SQI24 model with manual override feature.
Regular Maintenance Schedule: • Check hydraulic fluid levels in both pump reservoirs monthly • System requires approximately 6 quarts total Dexron III ATF • Maintain fluid ¾" from top of each reservoir - never overfill • Inspect all hydraulic lines and fittings for leaks every 3 months • Clean jack cylinders and remove road debris before each use • Lubricate foot pad swivel points annually with marine-grade grease • Verify mounting bracket bolts are tight at start of each season • Keep battery fully charged - dual pumps require adequate voltage • Check weatherproof control box seal and key lock operation monthly Common Issues and Solutions: • One Jack Won't Operate: Check individual pump connections, verify toggle switch operation for that side, inspect wiring harness connections at control box • Jacks Move at Different Speeds: This is normal with independent pumps - slight variations don't affect performance or leveling capability • Slow Operation on One Side: Check fluid level in that pump's reservoir, inspect for air in hydraulic lines, verify battery voltage is adequate (12.4V minimum) • Hydraulic Leak on One Side: Tighten fittings on affected pump/jack assembly carefully, inspect hoses for cracks or abrasion damage • Both Jacks Won't Operate: Check main battery voltage and connections, verify 120-amp breaker not tripped, inspect power connections at control box • Control Box Not Responding: Check key lock position (must be unlocked), verify battery connections at breaker, inspect wiring harness for damage Hydraulic Fluid Specification: Use Dexron III automatic transmission fluid. Compatible alternatives: Dexron II, ATF+4, Mercon, Mercon V. Initial system fill requires approximately 6 quarts total (about 3 quarts per pump assembly). Do not mix different fluid types.
