Mount it once, forget the terminals forever. The BatteryMINDer 128CEC1 is a permanently installed 12V charger that automatically charges, conditions, and desulfates your RV or marine battery around the clock -- without disconnecting cables or opening a battery compartment. Selectable 2, 4, or 8 amp output handles everything from a small sealed battery to a full deep-cycle bank, and built-in randomized high-frequency desulfation pulses work continuously to push back sulfation and extend battery life well beyond typical replacement cycles.
The 128CEC1 is engineered for fixed installation inside an engine bay, RV battery compartment, or marine hull. Once wired in via the included ring terminal assembly, the unit operates completely automatically -- detecting battery state, selecting the right charge phase, running desulfation pulses, and dropping into float maintenance when the battery reaches 100%. You never have to pop the hood or swap clamps.
Three selectable charge rates (2, 4, or 8A) let you match the charger output to your battery capacity and charging window. The microprocessor-controlled charge algorithm guarantees a full charge every cycle without risk of overcharge, and the unit safely charges all common 12V battery chemistries without changing any settings -- just push the button for battery type and rate.
One-touch push-button lets you dial in the right charge rate for your battery size and situation -- from trickle maintenance to fast recovery charging.
Randomized high-frequency pulses run throughout every charge and maintenance cycle, dissolving sulfate crystals that rob capacity and raise internal resistance.
Charges and maintains flooded/wet, maintenance-free/sealed, AGM, and gel batteries of all sizes and brands without special adapters.
Maintain up to 6 batteries simultaneously when paired with optional Y-Connectors (210AY) and RTA2415 ring terminals -- sold separately.
The 128CEC1 includes a full suite of protective features designed for permanent, unattended installation. Reverse polarity protection prevents damage if leads are connected incorrectly. Spark-free operation means you can connect or disconnect the charger while the battery is in place. An auto-reset thermal breaker shuts the unit down if internal temperature exceeds safe limits and automatically restores operation once it cools.
The charger also automatically detects and rejects defective or deeply discharged batteries that fall below the 3V minimum threshold, protecting both the charger and the battery from damage during a bad-cell event. Visual error indicators flag polarity faults and other connection problems at a glance.
Onboard LEDs report charge level, battery health status, and sulfation condition in real time. You can check battery condition at a glance without a separate meter. Indicators also warn of fault conditions including polarity reversal and thermal shutoff events.
The watertight ABS housing and coated internal circuitry are built for long-term exposure to the conditions inside an engine bay or RV battery compartment -- moisture, vibration, heat cycling, and dust. Wall or vehicle mounting is supported; the compact 4.9 x 7.3 x 2.1 inch footprint fits in tight spaces, and all included cords route cleanly to a fixed battery installation.
For deeply sulfated batteries that have been sitting discharged for extended periods, the 128CEC1 includes a manual override mode that runs a dedicated high-intensity desulfation cycle. This is particularly useful for recovering batteries that a standard charger would otherwise reject as defective.
