The BatteryMINDer 1500 does more than top off a battery -- it actively restores lost capacity by dissolving harmful sulfate buildup using safe, high-frequency pulse technology. Plug it in and walk away: the 1500 monitors battery condition continuously, compensates for ambient temperature, and keeps your RV, marine, or vehicle battery ready to go without overcharging or undercharging.
Sulfation is the leading cause of premature battery failure. As lead-acid cells sit partially or fully discharged, lead sulfate crystals form on the plates and gradually choke off capacity. Most basic maintainers simply hold a float voltage and do nothing about existing sulfation. The BatteryMINDer 1500 is different -- its proprietary high-frequency pulse signal works continuously alongside the charging cycle to break down those crystals and push recoverable capacity back into the battery.
The built-in temperature sensor adjusts charge voltage automatically based on the environment, so batteries in a hot storage bay or a cold winter garage receive exactly the voltage they need -- no manual adjustment required. Short-circuit, reverse-polarity, and spark protection are all built in, making this a safe choice for unattended long-term storage charging.
Continuous pulse technology dissolves lead sulfate crystals that rob battery capacity -- works automatically during every charge cycle without user intervention.
Installed temperature sensor adjusts output voltage to prevent overcharge in heat and undercharge in cold, extending battery life in all climates.
Maintains up to 4 batteries simultaneously when used with optional Y-Connectors (model 210AY, sold separately). Ideal for rigs with house and chassis banks.
Works with 12V flooded, sealed, maintenance-free, deep-cycle, and marine batteries. Compatible with most AGM batteries -- see AGM note for exceptions.
The BatteryMINDer 1500 is designed for the widest possible range of 12-volt lead-acid battery types:
The 1500 can maintain up to 4 batteries at the same time using BatteryMINDer Y-Connectors (part number 210AY, sold separately). This is particularly useful for full-timers and seasonal storage situations where both house and chassis batteries need to stay conditioned without connecting separate chargers.
The 1500 is purpose-built for unattended long-term charging -- RVs in winter storage, boats on the trailer, tow vehicles sitting between trips. Because it monitors and reacts to battery state rather than running a fixed timer, it will not overcharge a battery left connected for weeks or months. The desulfation pulse continues during maintenance mode, which means batteries stored on the 1500 often come out of a season in better condition than when they went in.
