The Express and Savana's factory cargo floor is smooth, painted metal that's slick underfoot and vulnerable to the scratches, dents, and chemical staining that come with daily commercial use.
The VanTred's durable TPO (thermoplastic polyolefin) surface grips cargo firmly, resists chemical and moisture exposure, and cushions impacts to protect the factory-painted floor. The ribbed ½" polypropylene foam backer conforms to the Express/Savana's floor contours for a smooth, cushioned work surface that reduces road noise and insulates against heat transfer — making the cargo area more comfortable and practical on every job.

The VTRG96 is designed for standard-body Chevy Express and GMC Savana vans only. It does not fit the extended-body Express/Savana, which has a longer cargo floor and requires a separate part number. Extended-body fitment: • VTRG96X — Chevy Express / GMC Savana Extended The extended body has a longer rear overhang behind the rear axle. Check your vehicle's door jamb sticker or registration to confirm your body configuration before ordering.

Sweep out cargo area to remove debris 2. Unroll and position mat over the full cargo floor 3. Slide edges under plastic OEM shrouds at the rear door and side entry door to secure in place 4. No cutting, drilling, or adhesive required Note on Passenger Vans: If installing in a passenger van configuration, seat bracket cutouts may be required. Existing carpet must be removed prior to installation. Cleaning: Brush, vacuum, or hose off. Power-washer safe. TPO will not absorb liquids or trap odors — rinse clean and allow to dry.
