The Tekonsha Breakaway System protects yourself from the unthinkable. A full breakaway system is designed to make certain that your trailer stops if accidentally separated from the towing vehicle. A breakaway event triggers the on-board battery to send a charge that engages your trailer brakes and stops the trailer. Use on single, tandem or tri-axle trailers with electric brakes. Complete system includes battery, battery case, mounting brackets, breakaway switch and battery charger.
