The Curt 48660 is built for demanding commercial, agricultural, construction, and equipment-trailer applications requiring a heavy-duty lunette connection. Its 3" inside diameter works with a wide range of compatible pintle hooks, ball-and-pintle combinations, and clevis bars.
Unlike a fixed lunette eye, the 48660 is designed to bolt into a compatible adjustable coupler channel. This allows the ring height to be repositioned as needed to help level the trailer behind different tow vehicles.

Curt 48660 is rated for up to 24,000 lbs. gross trailer weight, but towing capacity is always limited by the lowest-rated component in the complete system, including the tow vehicle, hitch, pintle hook, lunette channel, mounting hardware, and trailer.
