The Curt 22277 provides a simple way to protect a 2-1/2" x 2-1/2" receiver tube when the hitch is not being used. Covering the receiver opening helps reduce buildup of dirt, water, mud, and road grime that can make inserting a ball mount or hitch-mounted accessory more difficult.
The durable black rubber construction will not rust or corrode and installs directly into the receiver opening with a friction fit. No hitch pin, clip, tools, or additional hardware are required.
