The Curt 23518 replaces a standard hitch pin and clip with a keyed locking pin to help deter theft of ball mounts, cargo carriers, bike racks, and other hitch-mounted accessories. Its 5/8" diameter pin is designed for standard 2" x 2" receiver tubes with a compatible hitch-pin hole.
The barbell-style locking mechanism operates with a simple 1/4-turn of the key, while the included watertight dust cap helps protect the internal lock components from water, dirt, and road grime. A durable semi-gloss black powder coat provides additional corrosion protection.
