The 58197 is the missing piece for pontoon owners who want to use a Kuuma wrap-around rail mount on a full-height square fence panel rail. It saddles the top of the square rail and gives the 58182 or 58195 a proper clamping surface -- no drilling, no permanent modifications to your boat.
Standard pontoon wrap-around rail mounts like the Kuuma 58182 (fixed angle) and 58195 (swivel) are designed to clamp around a round or tube-style rail. Many modern pontoons, however, use a square full-height fence panel for their perimeter railing. The geometry of a square rail top edge prevents a standard wrap-around clamp from seating correctly.
The 58197 solves this by bridging the gap. It slips over the top of the square fence rail, creates a stable saddle platform, and gives the 58182 or 58195 the curved underside it needs to grip securely. The result is a solid, tool-accessible grill mount in a location that would otherwise be incompatible.
Adjustment is handled with an included Allen key -- no separate tools required. The adapter spans a range of square rail sizes from 3/4 inch up to 1.4 inches, covering the vast majority of pontoon fence panel top rails on the market.

The 58197 is designed for pontoon full-height fence panel top rails with a square cross-section between 3/4" and 1.4" in width. If your pontoon uses a round rail, a different profile, or an oversize square rail outside this range, this adapter will not fit correctly. Measure your rail before purchasing.
